Hi, Everyone!
My name is Cassidy. I'm a sophomore at a Maryland high school, and in October of 2012, I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. I
'm dealing with the symptoms of Lyme--pain, fatigue, insomnia, stiffness, joint swelling, and more-- on a daily basis. But, I know I'm not the only one .
I'm using this blog to reach out to other Lyme patients, whether it's sharing a tip on dealing with the pain, a personal story, or just me venting after a long day of dealing with my symptoms.
I'm also using this blog to increase Lyme awareness. I never saw the tick that bit me, andI never had a visible bullseye rash--one of the signs of Lyme. It can sneak up on you, and I want to play a role, even if it's a small one, in helping stop the spread of those pesky little ticks. Enjoy!
